NEWS

Lankan colossus Kumar Sangakkara claims his 474th victim behind the stumps in ODIs, eclipsing the 7 year old record of Adam Gilchrist.

Ian Bell's highest score in ODIs propels him past 5000 career runs and into 1st place on the ODI list for England, ahead of Paul Collingwood.

Pace spearhead Dale Steyn claims his 150th victim in ODIs.

South Africa's innings of 439 in the 2nd ODI against WI is their highest ever, and only 4 runs shy of Sri Lanka's all-time record. In the same innings, the extraordinary AB de Villiers cracks the fastest ever century in ODIs: only 31 balls.

Left arm pacer Mitchell Starc takes 6-43 at the MCG: the best ODI figures by an Australian at this venue (Ajit Agarkar took 6-42 for India against the Aussies in 2004).
