(Aug 27) AB de Villiers passes 8000 runs in ODIs.

(Aug 24) Australian opener Chris Rogers bids farewell to international cricket, passing 2000 Test runs in his final innings. Newly minted captain Steven Smith also passes 3000 runs as the Aussies gain a consolation victory at The Oval.

A milestone as well for England paceman Steven Finn, taking 100 wickets in Tests.

(Aug 22) HowzStat notes the passing of Invincible Arthur Morris at the age of 93. Len Maddocks now becomes the oldest surviving Australian international cricketer (List of Oldest Surviving Cricketers).

(Aug 16) Ajinkya Rahane becomes the first Test fielder to take 8 catches in a match, eclipsing 5 others who have taken 7 (List).
